Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development in any stack.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, including relational DB schema design and complex queries.
- Demonstrable experience with at least one major full-stack project involving frontend, backend, and database components.
- Ability to design, develop, and launch a web application from start to finish.
- Deep understanding of web development concepts and principles.
- Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices.
- Experience using Git in a team environment.
- Comfortable working outside of a framework to understand backend processes.
- Strong ability to learn new skills independently.
- Must be able to travel to San Jose, CA office up to three times per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features and see them through to production.
- Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code while adhering to best practices.
- Integrate and build for internal and external APIs.
- Develop new products in Python and maintain existing codebases.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and design relational database schemas.
- Create and code complex backend algorithms.
- Profile and optimize new and legacy code.
- Use CSS and Typescript for frontend functionality.
