Requirements
- 7 years of broad experience applying Project Management principles, methods, techniques, and tools within the last 10 years.
- 4 years of experience as a senior PM on large or complex IT projects within the last 10 years.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent years of experience).
- Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI.
- 3 years of experience supporting California Department of Technology (CDT) PAL Stage 2–4 projects and large system implementations within the last 10 years.
- 2 years of experience preparing documentation for CDT Stage Gate Reviews within the last 10 years.
- 1 year of experience with Accela Civic Platform or Accela licensing and enforcement modules within the last 10 years.
Responsibilities
- Engage in collecting and documenting new or updated project requirements.
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into user stories or technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain project plans to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
- Manage project documentation throughout all stages of the CDT PAL process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and vendors.
- Lead and mentor project team members, ensuring resource availability.
- Oversee technical project aspects including data conversion and system integration.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success and improvements.
