Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related construction/engineering field.
- 2–3 years of early-career estimating experience working on US-based construction projects.
- Specific exposure to multi-trade estimation including painting, flooring, drywall, and framing.
- Direct, hands-on experience navigating ConstructConnect to actively source and identify new leads.
- Proven track record as a high-volume estimator in a continuous bidding environment.
- High competency in data management and organization utilizing Google Sheets or MS Excel.
- Complete fluency in English (both written and verbal).
- Professional communication skills for subcontractor coordination and vendor outreach.
- Availability to work dedicated full-time hours matching the 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST business window.
Responsibilities
- Actively navigate and search the ConstructConnect platform to identify, source, and secure new bidding and project opportunities.
- Screen and evaluate incoming projects based on specific timelines, prioritizing bids with closer due dates.
- Qualify and present discovered leads to ownership for strategic approval.
- Perform comprehensive, accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates across multiple interior and exterior trades.
- Maintain and organize a centralized tracking system via Google Sheets to monitor all submitted bids, deadlines, and client touchpoints.
- Manage day-to-day project workflows, including handling RFIs, submittals, revisions, vendor outreach, and subcontractor coordination.
- Act as an administrative partner to track and prompt ownership on follow-ups with prospective general contractors.
