Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems.
- Demonstrated ownership of features end-to-end.
- Fluency in C#/.NET for back-end services.
- Working proficiency in React (TypeScript preferred).
- Strong debugging instincts in distributed systems.
- Foundational SQL knowledge with experience writing queries against operational data.
- Hands-on experience with an observability or logging stack (e.g., Datadog, Elasticsearch/Kibana).
- Proficiency in triaging API logs and HTTP traffic using tools like Postman.
- Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Comfortable working in a remote, Slack-heavy async environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering-routed escalations from reproduction through resolution.
- Write production code across C#/.NET back-end and React front-end services.
- Build and maintain internal admin tooling and operator surfaces.
- Lead complex investigations across distributed traces, database state, and integration failures.
- Participate in the trading platform on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews.
- Identify and implement observability improvements including dashboards, alerts, and log quality.
- Partner with internal teams to translate trader pain into actionable technical backlog items.
