Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Served as a Braven volunteer Leadership Coach for at least ONE semester
- Demonstrated experience in teaching, instructional coaching, facilitation, or adult learning
- Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback and build trusting relationships quickly
- Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to support diverse volunteers
- Commitment to Braven’s mission and supporting underrepresented college students
- Ability to work non-traditional hours, including up to 3 evenings per week
- Must reside in Georgia, Illinois, Delaware, New York, or New Jersey
- Comfort using collaboration and data tools like Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, and Canvas
Responsibilities
- Coach and support a caseload of 15-20 volunteer Leadership Coaches to develop their facilitation skills.
- Attend 3-5 Learning Labs weekly to observe and support Leadership Coaches, including evening sessions.
- Provide timely, actionable feedback via email after every observation.
- Conduct personalized one-on-one coaching calls and meetings to provide ongoing support.
- Track coach development and performance using internal tracking protocols and systems.
- Collaborate with the CDA team to improve and scale volunteer support systems.
- Document and share best practices to inform program design and volunteer training.
