Requirements
- Standout motion portfolio across brand and marketing work, from fast-turn social edits to polished launch moments.
- Excellent with After Effects and a modern motion toolkit.
- Strong foundation in design: type, composition, pacing, hierarchy, and taste.
- Ability to take a loose brief, find the shape of the idea, and drive the work from concept to final export.
- Deep attention to detail regarding timing, easing, transitions, and rhythm.
- Comfortable bringing motion to the web, whether through Lottie, Rive, CSS/SVG, prototyping tools, or close collaboration with design engineers.
- Ability to work close to the product and make technical ideas feel simple, sharp, and exciting.
- Curiosity about how AI can speed up, expand, or sharpen the creative process.
- Ability to move quickly and ship while maintaining high craft quality.
Responsibilities
- Define LiveKit’s motion language from the ground up: the principles, timing, behaviors, and feel that make our brand recognizably ours.
- Lead motion for major launches and campaigns, from announcement videos and hero moments to social cuts and supporting assets.
- Bring LiveKit’s website and key marketing surfaces to life with animation that is thoughtful, performant, and in service of the story.
- Build reusable motion systems, templates, components, and workflows so high-quality motion can ship faster across the team.
- Partner closely with brand, marketing, product, and design engineering to turn complex technical ideas into motion that feels clear, sharp, and worth watching.
