Requirements

  • Progressive experience in software sales, new business/sales development, or enablement.
  • Experience building relationships with sales leaders and their teams.
  • Software sales or sales enablement experience, preferably with expertise in DevOps or Open Source.
  • Working knowledge of sales training technology and methodologies.
  • Experience with enablement concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to actively incorporate AI tools into daily practices for content development and ideation.
  • Experience preparing, developing, and executing sales effectiveness strategies.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to audiences of varying expertise.
  • Strong ability to influence field professionals and management.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project and change management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support two VP organizations (New Business and Sales Development/SMB) with enablement content build, training delivery, and analytics.
  • Develop and execute enablement programs to ensure high velocity reps are equipped to differentiate and sell the GitLab solution.
  • Partner with field leadership to identify needs, build out plans, and tailor content to specific teams and markets.
  • Scope and build new enablement content focused on product knowledge, skill development, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with content teams and SMEs to develop role-specific training curriculum.
  • Ensure alignment of enablement activities with events, product releases, and campaigns.
  • Leverage Salesforce, Cornerstone, and Gong to deliver training and identify performance gaps.
  • Equip field teams with AI best practices for research, tiering, and messaging.
  • Develop job aids and assessments to enhance field effectiveness.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of enablement investments.
