Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2+ years of experience in QA automation within cloud-based environments.
- Strong experience with manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, scripting, and programming languages used in QA.
- Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze issues across full-stack systems.
- Experience working in Linux and/or MacOS environments.
- Ability to work effectively across front-end and back-end systems.
- Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed, international teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage test coverage based on business risk, and work in agile environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks to ensure strong regression coverage and reliable release cycles.
- Develop automated test cases in parallel with new feature development, ensuring early validation of UI and backend functionality.
- Support manual testing efforts and progressively convert manual test cases into scalable automated scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with TechOps teams to ensure continuous quality validation.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve automation issues while performing root-cause analysis when failures occur.
- Create and maintain test plans, documentation, and reporting metrics for both manual and automated testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to define test strategies, prioritize scenarios based on risk, and ensure full test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, ensuring timely resolution throughout the development cycle.
