Requirements
- Proven experience in the BESS industry as a performance, systems, or O&M engineer.
- Deep understanding of lithium-ion battery behavior, degradation, and SoC estimation.
- Experience with BESS communication protocols (Modbus, IEC-104, OPC-UA, REST APIs, or SFTP).
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, sensor processing, and anomaly detection.
- Familiarity with US power markets and ISO/RTO structures (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, PJM).
- Strong communication skills in English for technical reporting.
- Highly organized and comfortable working in an international startup environment.
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers across the Americas.
- Support pre-sales activities, including technical discovery and system architecture discussions.
- Lead customer onboarding by analyzing system documentation and configuring data pipelines.
- Manage KPI rollout and validation, resolving data quality and sensor issues.
- Conduct advanced performance analysis during commissioning and operational phases.
- Translate technical findings into clear, executive-ready insights.
- Deliver technical training sessions for performance engineers and O&M teams.
- Travel occasionally (up to 25%) across the Americas for on-site support.
