Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in thought leadership, account management, or related pharmaceutical/healthcare roles.
- At least 2+ years of people management or leadership experience.
- Strong background in specialty sales, oncology, or related therapeutic areas (breast cancer experience strongly preferred).
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems, medical stakeholders, and clinical environments.
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with physicians, key opinion leaders, and healthcare organizations.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and presentation skills.
- Experience designing and executing marketing, engagement, or commercial strategies.
- Financial and budget management experience in a business or marketing context.
- High level of interpersonal, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate in complex, matrixed environments with agility and autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain a structured universe of medical experts including Tier 1, Tier 2, and emerging leaders.
- Lead and coordinate high-impact engagements with key medical experts to gather insights on market dynamics and the treatment landscape.
- Develop and support advisory boards, consultancy frameworks, and expert nomination processes.
- Partner with Medical Affairs to deploy experts in targeted initiatives such as access, payer, and clinical engagement programs.
- Design and execute cross-functional engagement plans at national and regional congresses and scientific events.
- Serve as a primary liaison between external experts and internal teams.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of educational programs, peer exchanges, and leadership-level scientific interactions.
- Monitor KPIs, evaluate engagement impact, and provide strategic business reviews to senior leadership.
