- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with online systems, payer portals, and digital document management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with healthcare payer operations, provider network management, credentialing, contracting, or regulatory processes is preferred.
- Understanding of healthcare privacy standards and experience working with protected information is considered an asset.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to support operational improvements and collaborate across multiple functions.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the receipt, sorting, distribution, and tracking of incoming and outgoing correspondence related to payer communications, regulatory notices, provider contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems to ensure easy access to provider records, contracts, notices, and operational documents.
- Manage user access requests for payer, credentialing, and regulatory portals while maintaining accurate records of permissions and credentials.
- Troubleshoot system access issues and collaborate with external payer representatives to resolve account-related concerns.
- Support provider contracting activities by preparing, formatting, distributing, and tracking contracts, amendments, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with provider onboarding processes, demographic updates, contract status tracking, and directory update requests required by payer organizations.
- Coordinate payer attestation responses and ensure completion of mandatory training programs.
- Monitor shared inboxes related to contracting, credentialing, and regulatory communications.
- Support audit preparation efforts by organizing documentation, validating information, and maintaining accurate records.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
