Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Fluent in English.
- Private workspace with no background noise, free from family, friends, pets, or visitors.
- Noise-canceling headphones with a USB connection.
- Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps.
- Ability to work at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend day.
- Availability for 10-hour block or split-shift schedules.
- Strong investigative research skills and attention to detail.
- Strong spatial awareness and ability to orient using 2D/3D maps and visual cues.
Responsibilities
- Clearly and accurately present on-demand visual information to blind and low vision customers.
- Consistently answer calls while scheduled.
- Display a professional demeanor that inspires trust and supports the Aira mission.
- Maintain strict data privacy standards and confidentiality.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Anticipate customer needs and provide exceptional, personalized support.
- Adapt to changing priorities and various types of real-time call scenarios.
