  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • SHRM certification (SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP) required.
  • Deep expertise in federal and multi-state employment law and compliance.
  • Direct experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Proven experience serving as sole or senior HR leader in a nonprofit or multi-program environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build structure and foundational HR systems.
  • Experience creating executive-level HR metrics and dashboards.
  • Ability to balance hands-on operational execution with strategic executive advisory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Partner with leadership to navigate employee relations matters fairly and consistently.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and support performance management processes.
  • Manage HR processes and reporting through ADP Workforce Now.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment regulations.
