Requirements
- Master’s Degree in English or Master’s degree in another subject with 18 graduate hours in English.
- Valid Arkansas secondary ELA license (7-12; codes 052, 166, or 4031).
- Proficiency in using digital tools, platforms, and learning management systems.
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and interpret student data to inform instruction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage students remotely in a blended learning environment.
- Commitment to ongoing curriculum design and assessment quality.
- Reliable high-speed Internet connectivity for a professional home office.
- Must pass local, state, and federal criminal background checks.
- Must pass a child maltreatment central registry check.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and design digital lessons and assignments.
- Deliver instruction using Canvas LMS, SIS, and other digital tools.
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and implement intervention or enrichment strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and local facilitators.
- Create and enhance online content including focus and micro-topic videos.
- Design and align assessment items to Arkansas Curriculum Standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development and meetings.
