Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Education or a relevant subject area.
- Prior classroom or instructional experience.
- Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology.
- Ability to independently navigate Microsoft Office, email, video conferencing platforms, and learning management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume asynchronous caseload with consistency and responsiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to use student performance data to inform instructional decisions.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Active teaching certification or license in the applicable subject area strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching in an online or blended learning environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned caseload of students and monitor academic progress throughout the course lifecycle.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and school partners, including regular progress updates.
- Grade assignments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Deliver engaging live virtual instruction when assigned.
- Monitor student performance and implement appropriate academic interventions.
- Collaborate with instructional leaders and internal stakeholders to support student success.
- Maintain accurate student records and complete required administrative tasks.
- Participate in professional development, instructional observations, and feedback processes.
- Complete all required training and compliance activities.
- Serve as a substitute or bench teacher when assigned.
