- At least 4 years of hands-on ownership of security operations or incident response programs.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management.
- Experience with SIEM tools.
- Experience with the Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender, Entra, Purview).
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar).
- Experience supporting audits, including evidence collection and remediation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must reside in the contiguous United States.
- Must work East Coast hours.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support security operations aligned with the company security roadmap.
- Manage the vulnerability lifecycle from scanning to remediation.
- Lead end-to-end incident response, including containment and root cause analysis.
- Tune SIEM detections and develop automation playbooks.
- Administer Microsoft 365 security, including Purview DLP and sensitivity labeling.
- Support security awareness programs such as phishing simulations.
- Maintain audit readiness for SOC 2 and HITRUST compliance.
- Provide clear, data-backed security reporting for executive leadership.
