Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in international development business development.
- Extensive experience pursuing federal donors, USAID, and/or multilateral ODA funding.
- Proven track record of competitive wins in technical sectors.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end competitive business development processes.
- Familiarity with government procurement regulations and proposal evaluation criteria.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple concurrent deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Costpoint and Salesforce strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% domestically with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and expand opportunity pipeline by tracking government and ODA funding forecasts and bills.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and opportunity qualification based on strategic fit.
- Oversee end-to-end proposal development for complex RFPs and RFAs, ensuring technical compliance.
- Engage with government and ODA client representatives and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Maintain pipeline data and records in Costpoint and Salesforce.
- Coordinate go/no-go decisions and manage proposal support resources.
