Requirements
- Fluent in modern CI/CD principles and practices.
- Strong software engineering background with experience building durable systems.
- Proficiency in Go.
- Hands-on experience operating production-scale Kubernetes clusters.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals including TCP/UDP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, and Linux.
- Ability to build shared service abstractions that connect local dev, builds, tests, and deployments.
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment.
- Experience with monorepos (nice to have).
- Familiarity with tools such as Argo CD, Terraform, or skaffold (nice to have).
- Background with high-throughput systems, event streaming, or distributed databases (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Create paved paths from local development environments to production.
- Build and maintain a cohesive developer journey including build tooling, test workflows, artifact management, and deploy ergonomics.
- Improve performance, reliability, and observability across the CI/CD stack.
- Partner with product engineering teams to co-design workflow improvements and deliver practical tooling.
- Define and evolve best practices for software builds, rollout strategies, and production readiness.
- Shape the roadmap for developer productivity and drive high-impact engineering initiatives.
