Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in AI, automation, systems implementation, business process improvement, or related fields.
- Formal qualifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience building automation solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, large language models, and automation platforms.
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working remotely with international teams.
- Ability to work independently and build systems from the ground up.
- Willingness to spend several months on-site in Timor-Leste during the first year of engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing business processes and identify automation opportunities across retail, hospitality, and distribution operations.
- Develop and execute an AI and automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using modern automation platforms to eliminate manual tasks.
- Build AI-powered tools, assistants, and knowledge management systems using technologies like ChatGPT and Claude.
- Create dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure the ROI and effectiveness of AI initiatives.
- Partner with executives and department leaders to translate business challenges into practical automation solutions.
- Train and support teams on newly implemented systems to promote adoption and continuous improvement.
