Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or retail merchandising analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with planning or BI tools is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable business insights.
- Strong understanding of retail inventory, allocation, or assortment planning concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with buyers and planners to develop and execute assortment and allocation strategies aligned with financial and merchandising goals.
- Manage pre-receiving reviews of styles to ensure accurate store allocations aligned with planned assortments.
- Develop clustering strategies by store type, class, or category to improve targeting and allocation accuracy.
- Analyze store performance, rankings, and attributes to identify demand patterns and optimize inventory distribution.
- Monitor in-season and post-season performance to identify opportunities for future planning improvements.
- Oversee replenishment execution and ensure inventory levels are maintained effectively across stores.
- Support new store opening assortments based on sales forecasts and inventory targets.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
