Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales or technical support of lab consumables, chemicals, or scientific instruments.
- Strong technical knowledge of laboratory chemicals, consumables, instrumentation, microbiology, or chromatography products.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, distributor management, and key account handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong customer focus and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
Responsibilities
- Drive territory sales performance by identifying and developing new customers, managing existing accounts, and achieving defined revenue and margin targets.
- Develop and strengthen distribution channels while ensuring consistent product availability and market penetration.
- Manage key accounts and collaborate with channel partners to support business growth, collections, and profitability.
- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and demand assessment to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and ensure timely follow-ups on leads.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and product education to customers.
