Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales or technical support of lab consumables, chemicals, or scientific instruments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of laboratory chemicals, consumables, instrumentation, microbiology, or chromatography products.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, distributor management, and key account handling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

  • Drive territory sales performance by identifying and developing new customers, managing existing accounts, and achieving defined revenue and margin targets.
  • Develop and strengthen distribution channels while ensuring consistent product availability and market penetration.
  • Manage key accounts and collaborate with channel partners to support business growth, collections, and profitability.
  • Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and demand assessment to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and ensure timely follow-ups on leads.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and product education to customers.
