Requirements
- In-depth frontend experience with React and modern JavaScript.
- Solid backend experience in Elixir, Go, Python, or a comparable server-side language.
- Comfortable working across the stack and owning features from data model to UI.
- Proven experience taking ambiguous problems from start to finish with a high sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to stay current with AI capabilities, models, and tools for product application.
- Several years of experience shipping production software.
- Track record of leading projects from specification to launch with multiple contributors.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features end-to-end, from UI surfaces to backend services, APIs, and integrations.
- Partner closely with product and design teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical trade-offs.
- Own projects from start to finish, managing scope and driving delivery across team boundaries.
- Implement industry-standard engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, feature flags, and A/B testing.
- Set the technical direction and quality bar for the team, contributing to architecture and documentation.
- Proactively resolve critical technical issues and raise the bar for the engineering group.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical excellence.
