Requirements
- Active Compact Nursing License (must reside in the state of licensure).
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced environment (ED, Surgical Services, Critical Care, or Med/Surg).
- Proficiency in typing and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Reliable high-speed fiberoptic or coaxial cable internet connection (must connect directly via ethernet; Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Dedicated, noise-free, HIPAA-compliant home office space.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including 2 out of every 3 weekends.
- Successful completion of a 3-week remote orientation and training program.
- Ability to pass a background check and nurse licensing verification.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Commitment to maintaining required CEUs for assigned state licenses.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical advice and triage for patients and families via telephone.
- Navigate multiple software applications to perform real-time documentation during calls.
- Maintain strict adherence to client-specific nursing protocols.
- Communicate with patients and families with empathy and professionalism.
- Complete charting thoroughly after calls are transferred to the next shift.
- Participate in ongoing in-services and additional training as required.
