Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related technical field.
- 2–3+ years of proven estimating experience performing material takeoffs and bid preparation for US-based construction projects.
- Deep familiarity with US construction standards, blueprints, building codes, and terminology for drywall, paint, and interior framing.
- Strong project management mindset with the ability to independently manage RFI processes and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in integrating with remote software and estimating tools.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from residential and commercial blueprints for drywall, painting, metal framing, acoustic ceilings, and flooring.
- Review project specifications, plans, and addendums to identify discrepancies and manage the RFI and submittal process.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages and proposals tailored to US market pricing.
- Manage active bid coordination to maintain the estimating pipeline and meet deadlines.
- Lead subcontractor and vendor outreach, soliciting quotes and clarifying scopes of work.
- Collaborate with the business owner as a reliable operational partner.
