Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contractor or trades management.
- Previous management experience in training and recruitment.
- Proven success in engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors, and trade organizations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish expectations with disparate trades.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
- New Jersey residency required.
- Technical acumen regarding energy efficiency measures and contractor capabilities.
- Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and foster relationships with contractors across various trades and with trade organizations and relevant industry groups.
- Perform contractor recruitment into the multifamily program based on program needs and priorities.
- Work with subcontractor partners to execute program delivery strategies and support achievement of program goals.
- Monitor program participation and adjust recruitment strategies to optimize program pursuit.
- Provide ongoing support and training to contractors regarding program updates, deadlines, and safety issues.
- Lead ad hoc meetings with internal teams and partners on recruitment, issue resolution, and performance challenges.
- Deliver presentations and communicate program offerings tailored to various stakeholders.
