Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a UX/product designer with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead full application design and redesign projects end to end.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma experience is a plus).
- Front-end development skills using React and Tailwind CSS, with the ability to produce production-ready code.
- Fluency with AI-assisted design and coding tools, including Claude Design.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems.
- Strong grasp of user-centered design, product thinking, and connection to business strategy.
- Understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and redesign of full application experiences across CE Broker from early research through shipped UI.
- Conduct and synthesize user research with product managers to identify pain points and translate insights into design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile, and validate them with real users.
- Build production-quality front-end code using React and Tailwind CSS, focusing on reliability, accessibility, and performance.
- Use Claude Design to accelerate design-to-code workflows and review output for quality, edge cases, and maintainability.
- Own and extend the design system, including components, tokens, patterns, and documentation.
- Lead design-engineering discussions regarding interaction patterns and component architecture.
- Ensure ADA and accessibility compliance across all shipped features.
