Requirements
- 5–8 years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in high-growth healthcare, SaaS, or subscription environments.
- Proven end-to-end ownership of budget cycles, board packs, and rolling forecasts.
- Expert-level driver-based modeling skills with proficiency in building three-statement models from scratch in Excel.
- Working knowledge of modern FP&A platforms such as Abacum, Pigment, Mosaic, Anaplan, or Cube.
- Strong business partnering instincts with the ability to communicate financial logic to non-finance leaders.
- Fluency in unit economics (ARR, ARPM, CAC, LTV, payback, cohort retention).
- Genuine AI fluency, utilizing tools like Claude or ChatGPT daily for modeling and automation.
- Data fluency with hands-on experience in BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Crisp written and visual communication skills.
- Player-coach mentality with the ability to balance immediate tasks with long-term strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly variance pack, driving sharp BvA analysis across P&L, COGS, gross profit, and OPEX.
- Build and maintain driver-based models covering member growth, ARPM, CAC, payback, and clinical cost-to-serve.
- Partner with department heads in Customer Success, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Sales to translate business plans into resourced budgets.
- Manage the long-range plan and rolling forecast, integrated with headcount, balance sheet, and cash flow models.
- Develop the monthly board narrative and lead the annual budget cycle timeline and consolidation.
- Build operational FP&A toolkits including dashboards and incentive models.
- Champion AI-enabled workflows to accelerate model documentation, variance commentary, and ad-hoc research.
