Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing talking-head or interview-style content.
- Multicam editing experience.
- Strong color grading skills, specifically with Log footage.
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to create titles, lower-thirds, and on-screen text.
- Strong English proficiency to follow scripts and identify deviations or flubs.
- Reliable workflow for handling and transferring large 4K video files.
- Experience with Frame.io for review and feedback.
- Ability to advise on filming setups (lighting, sound, camera angles).
Responsibilities
- Edit single-camera talking-head footage into professional, paced videos.
- Perform color grading from C-Log 3 footage to ensure a consistent look.
- Build and apply titles, lower-thirds, and on-screen text.
- Create light motion graphics and animated assets as needed.
- Sync and mix dialogue audio while removing flubs, mistakes, and dead air.
- Follow scripts to assemble final cuts and ensure content accuracy.
- Add music, captions, and subtitles.
- Consult on filming setups including lighting, sound, and camera angles.
