Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Power Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product engineering, controls, SCADA, or power systems leadership roles.
  • Significant experience in renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing senior technical leaders, engineering managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, plant controls, PV and BESS systems, and HIL.
  • Experience with industrial hardware and software, and power systems applications.
  • Proven track record of leading complex product organizations from concept through field deployment.
  • Cross-functional experience working with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, and delivery teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product decisions to growth, margin, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Product Engineering organization and Product Managers for the SCADA Business Unit.
  • Oversee Engineering Managers responsible for MetStations, FNEs, PV and BESS Controls, SCADA hardware/software, HIL, and Power Systems.
  • Drive end-to-end product execution across system architecture, design, development, validation, release, and field support.
  • Partner with Delivery, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Project teams to improve standardization and deployment readiness.
  • Establish and scale robust development processes including design reviews, testing standards, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Lead product quality initiatives to improve reliability and reduce field issues.
  • Align engineering priorities with product strategy, customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team culture focused on technical excellence and ownership.
