Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field, or equivalent trade certification (Journeyman/Master Electrician license).
- 4+ years of experience in dense electrical infrastructure (e.g., DC fast EV charging, BESS, data center power, substations, or microgrids).
- Proven ability to manage technical deliverables for multiple simultaneous projects.
- Proficiency in developing and reviewing Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Three-Line Diagrams.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar engineering software.
- Deep familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant local building codes.
- Experience managing utility interconnection applications and technical utility service provider requirements.
- Collaborative mindset with strong initiative in solving complex technical challenges.
- 2+ years of experience in the EV ecosystem preferred.
- Hands-on experience in construction oversight, commissioning, or field engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of OCPP and ISO 15118 standards preferred.
- EIT status or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development, Construction, and Energy teams to implement electrical hardware and utility requirements.
- Partner with the Technology team to evaluate and select hardware partners for charging sites.
- Execute interoperability strategies for diverse EVSE partners and electric vehicles.
- Support Field Service teams in troubleshooting hardware and electrical issues.
- Manage standards compliance and represent the company in industry-related engagements.
- Research and apply building and electrical code requirements to site designs.
- Manage technical engineering outputs across multiple projects with competing deadlines.
