Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience in front end focused programming languages including JavaScript, Typescript, or ES6.
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to breakdown and prioritize tasks.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong focus on user experience and usability with a deep intuition for how users interact with software.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective partnering in a fully remote environment.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift basics is a plus.
- Understanding of large scale web applications and techniques to accommodate high RPS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to build novel products and features.
- Contribute to standards improving developer workflows and mentor engineers to grow technical expertise.
- Own the full development cycle for major projects including design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Drive planning, development, and implementation of critical projects across web architecture.
- Enable a culture of metrics-led execution with a focus on operational excellence and system observability.
- Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps that achieve product and engineering goals.
