Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with work on optimization, logistics, marketplace dynamics, or applied ML systems.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, LLM-powered workflows, or autonomous decision-making systems.
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Comfortable owning services end-to-end, from database schema to deployment pipeline.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or scikit-learn.
- Experience with data tools such as SQL, Spark, and dbt.
- Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architectures, or streaming platforms like Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
- A customer-obsessed mindset with the ability to make trade-offs that protect user experience.
- A bias toward shipping, prototyping quickly, and iterating based on data.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents that make real-time decisions about driver pay, order batching, route sequencing, and delivery time estimation.
- Develop agent architectures that combine LLM reasoning with structured optimization to solve multi-objective logistics problems.
- Engineer dynamic pay systems that balance driver earnings, delivery speed, and unit economics.
- Architect gamification engines, such as streaks and leaderboards, to drive desired behaviors and keep drivers engaged.
- Develop predictive churn models and onboarding optimization systems to improve driver retention and lifecycle value.
- Own the delivery time prediction pipeline and build ML models to estimate transit and total delivery duration.
- Write production-grade code in Python, Go, or TypeScript and design APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
