Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience in front end focused programming languages (JavaScript, Typescript, ES6).
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular.
- Experience with CSS.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and others.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong focus on user experience and usability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively in a remote environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift basics is a plus.
- Understanding of large scale web applications and techniques to accommodate high RPS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build novel products and features.
- Contribute to technical standards, recommend best practices, and mentor engineers to grow their expertise.
- Own the full development cycle for major projects, including design, testing, experimentation, and launch.
- Drive planning, development, and implementation of critical projects across web architecture.
- Foster a culture of metrics-led execution with a focus on operational excellence and system observability.
- Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps that achieve product and engineering goals.
