Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, and improving demand forecasting or predictive models.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
- Strong proficiency in R for statistical modeling, forecasting, automation, and analytical workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with time series forecasting methods such as ARIMA, SARIMA, exponential smoothing, and regression.
- Ability to apply forecasting methods to workforce planning, capacity management, or financial forecasting.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Experience leading multiple projects in ambiguous environments.
- Experience working in or supporting a customer care, contact center, or workforce management environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Care demand forecasting model to ensure accuracy and alignment with business conditions.
- Improve forecast methodology by incorporating new data sources and advanced statistical or machine learning techniques.
- Translate complex forecast outputs into clear narratives for senior and executive leadership.
- Develop and manage the reporting infrastructure to support the demand forecast model.
- Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling to address high-priority business questions.
- Partner with finance, operations, and workforce management teams to align forecast assumptions.
- Establish standard processes for forecasting methodology and analytical rigor.
- Mentor team members and serve as the internal subject matter expert on demand forecasting.
- Surface insights from forecast data to identify opportunities for cost reduction or revenue growth.
- Lead the integration of AI tools into the forecasting workflow.
