Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, forecasting, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building, maintaining, and improving demand forecasting or predictive models.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
  • Strong proficiency in R for statistical modeling, forecasting, automation, and analytical workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience with time series forecasting methods such as ARIMA, SARIMA, exponential smoothing, and regression.
  • Ability to apply forecasting methods to workforce planning, capacity management, or financial forecasting.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Experience leading multiple projects in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience working in or supporting a customer care, contact center, or workforce management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Care demand forecasting model to ensure accuracy and alignment with business conditions.
  • Improve forecast methodology by incorporating new data sources and advanced statistical or machine learning techniques.
  • Translate complex forecast outputs into clear narratives for senior and executive leadership.
  • Develop and manage the reporting infrastructure to support the demand forecast model.
  • Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling to address high-priority business questions.
  • Partner with finance, operations, and workforce management teams to align forecast assumptions.
  • Establish standard processes for forecasting methodology and analytical rigor.
  • Mentor team members and serve as the internal subject matter expert on demand forecasting.
  • Surface insights from forecast data to identify opportunities for cost reduction or revenue growth.
  • Lead the integration of AI tools into the forecasting workflow.
