Requirements
- 3+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or optimizing Sage Intacct or comparable cloud ERP systems.
- Hands-on configuration experience in core Sage Intacct modules including GL, AP/AR, Cash Management, and Order Entry.
- Experience with advanced modules such as Consolidations, Dynamic Allocations, Project Accounting, and Contracts.
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts like Trial Balance, Intercompany transactions, and Journal Entries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing advisory.
- Ability to analyze and format data for system imports and exports.
- Experience with Jira, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, or similar project/ticketing tools.
- Comfortable using and exploring AI tools to improve personal and team productivity.
- Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist certification strongly preferred.
- CPA or equivalent accounting designation is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health checks and reviews across configuration, security, workflows, and reporting to identify performance gaps.
- Design and deliver optimization projects, including chart of accounts re-engineering and workflow streamlining.
- Translate client business requirements into Sage Intacct configurations across core modules like GL, AP/AR, and revenue recognition.
- Provide day-to-day functional support, troubleshooting issues and managing enhancement requests.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders and prepare project documentation and status updates.
- Develop internal templates, accelerators, and knowledge resources to scale practice expertise.
- Implement firm-approved AI solutions to enhance productivity and client deliverables.
