Requirements

  • B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering, or strong construction industry related work experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in field engineering, project management, or related experience.
  • Technical knowledge of power plants and power equipment.
  • Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training (or equivalent) prior to hire or within 30 days of onboarding.
  • Sound understanding of project controls and project risk management tools.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and adjust priorities.
  • NCCCO Rigger Level I certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Experience in business development strategies, sales, customer relationship management, and negotiation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize estimating templates to prepare and review area estimates for accuracy.
  • Approve and facilitate the transition of estimates to proposals.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to company procedures and policies.
  • Lead internal and external reviews of area projects from sales identification through project closeout.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Lead internal RFQ evaluation processes and recommend bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Provide project status updates and risk analysis to senior leadership.
  • Evaluate project leadership effectiveness and provide coaching and mentorship.
