Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing in Ohio, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Washington, California, or New York.
Minimum 10 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
Extensive MVA and CVA litigation experience.
Significant deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience.
First-chair trial experience strongly preferred.
Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a litigation docket.
Experience working remotely while maintaining high productivity.
Established relationships with medical providers, experts, and litigation support professionals are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution.
Develop litigation strategies and oversee all phases of litigation including depositions, mediations, and trials.
Serve as the lead personal injury attorney within the assigned state.
Establish relationships with medical providers, treatment facilities, and expert witnesses to support case development.
Identify and secure relationships with litigation professionals such as investigators and accident reconstructionists.
Develop state-specific pre-litigation and litigation procedures, workflows, and best practices.
Provide guidance regarding local court rules and jurisdiction-specific requirements.
Assist with training and mentoring attorneys and support staff as the firm grows.
