Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing in OH, MA, NC, WA, CA, or NY
- Minimum 10 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience
- Extensive MVA and CVA litigation experience
- Significant deposition, mediation, and courtroom experience
- First-chair trial experience strongly preferred
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a litigation docket
- Experience working remotely while maintaining high productivity and responsiveness
Responsibilities
- Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolution
- Handle MVA, CVA, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex injury claims
- Develop litigation strategies and oversee all phases of litigation
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare and try cases when settlement is not in the client's best interest
- Serve as lead personal injury attorney within the assigned state
- Assist in establishing and growing personal injury operations within the state
- Develop relationships with medical providers, experts, and litigation support professionals
- Assist in developing state-specific litigation procedures and workflows
- Train and mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff
