Requirements
- 8+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
- Active North Carolina Bar license
- Proven track record of courtroom experience and achieving results
- Exceptional advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing abilities
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable managing a full caseload in a remote environment
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across departments and functions
- Dual licensure in North Carolina and Texas preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from intake through trial, including strategy development, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations
- Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations with confidence and precision
- Advise clients on legal options and develop winning strategies tailored to their cases
- Prepare persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Work closely with paralegals and staff on exhibits, witnesses, and trial strategy
- Analyze liability, damages, and risk to guide case direction
- Maintain strong, consistent communication and deliver a high-touch client experience
