Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps, infrastructure, or full-stack engineering role.
- Working proficiency in Python or Go.
- Hands-on experience deploying or supporting production systems on AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and document work thoughtfully.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of networking, system reliability, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with source control (GitHub) and issue tracking (Jira).
Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve AWS environments using infrastructure-as-code including VPC, IAM, and secrets management.
- Write production code for frontend and backend services using Go, Python, JavaScript, and React.
- Contribute to CI/CD deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated testing and builds.
- Support Docker-based deployment platforms and operational workflows.
- Implement observability via logging, metrics, and alerting, and participate in incident response.
- Create internal documentation and development tooling to support team velocity.
- Collaborate directly with nonprofit partners to support their adoption of AI-enabled tools.
