Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or higher preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in database administration or equivalent commercial real estate experience.
- Property Management or Real Estate Accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent software skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Property Management Accounting Software (Visual Lease, Yardi, or MRI).
- Ability to read and interpret legal documents including lease agreements, amendments, subordination agreements, and title commitments.
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to learn new specialty lease administration software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, tenants, and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and edit lease abstracts for accuracy.
- Verify and transfer data from paper or electronic formats into database systems.
- Maintain daily lease document tracker and perform monthly production reporting.
- Manage and maintain database of all properties in portfolio to ensure high quality, up-to-date records.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including property managers, clients, and vendors.
- Communicate with clients, landlords, legal counsel, and vendors regarding lease data.
