Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of total accounting experience.
- 1+ years of direct people management experience.
- Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in revenue recognition for construction, energy, or service-based businesses.
- Proficiency in NetSuite (administrator-level experience preferred).
- Proven experience supporting external audits, including PBC preparation.
- Track record of implementing process improvements and strengthening close discipline.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and handle complex technical accounting independently.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience with Big Four or regional public accounting firms is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the PwC audit process as the primary preparer and auditor interface.
- Implement revenue recognition policy and WIP accounting frameworks per ASC 606.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure GAAP financial statement accuracy.
- Manage gross margin integrity, job cost accounting, and billing accuracy.
- Administer NetSuite and drive automation for reconciliations and close workflows.
- Mentor and manage a staff accountant and AP specialist.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and FP&A teams.
