Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Proficiency in either Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with building blocks of distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfortable navigating large code bases and debugging.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Break down large projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics stakeholders on product development.
- Articulate technical constraints and partner on decisions regarding risks and trade-offs.
- Create and monitor metrics to support the operations and availability of team artifacts.
- Perform on-call efforts and maintain system stability.
- Participate in team growth activities, including the interview process.
