Requirements
- Utility industry experience working with or for electric, gas, and/or water utilities in Europe/APAC.
- Combined experience in B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software sales selling to utility-like companies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the deregulated utility space, specifically in customer engagement, EVs, TOU, decarbonization, and demand-side management.
- Ability to navigate and manage long sales cycles through strategic follow-ups.
- Clear understanding of SaaS solutions with the ability to articulate features, benefits, and ROI.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex sales situations and close multi-million dollar transactions.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a persuasive attitude when presenting value to top executives.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day sales efforts, including development, qualification, and execution of sales opportunities through cold-outreach and warm hand-offs.
- Collaborate with marketing, technical sales, and product teams to ensure successful execution of new deals.
- Build relationships with customers and key decision-makers to become a trusted industry resource.
- Monitor and provide timely and accurate forecasts of business performance, opportunities, and pipelines.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
- Review, prepare, and negotiate proposals with customers.
