Requirements
- Deep understanding of Electrical Distribution, Transmission and Generation end-users.
- Expertise in Asset Management around Power transformers, Reactors, Substations and Generation Plants.
- Experience structuring, advocating and closing electric power deals at all levels of management.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region (up to 60%).
- Proven ability to carry and deliver against multi-million-dollar quotas.
- Proven track record of maintaining high-level customer relationships.
- Experience working with or managing resellers and representative firms.
- Outside sales experience in high voltage equipment or electric utility industry.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the sales strategy to achieve sales goals and sales & market-share objectives in your region.
- Maintain direct contact with customer accounts in assigned territory to monitor customer satisfaction, industry trends & competitive product offerings, strategies, and activity.
- Develop a successful representative network in assigned geographic including representative selection, training, and supervision.
- Maintain company product training certifications as defined by Company.
- Coordinate and attend key industry trade shows, seminars & conferences representing company products.
- Maintain company databases as required, such as Salesforce.
