Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 12+ years of experience in software design and development.
- At least 4 years in an architect or leadership role.
- Expert in writing high-quality, maintainable code in a modern language.
- Proven experience working with web services at massive scale deployed on Cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (Cursor, LLMs) to multiply output.
- Experience building and shipping a 0-to-1 product from scratch.
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills with stakeholders across Legal, Hardware, and Product.
Responsibilities
- Lead 'Big Rock' projects across Smart Trailers and Connected Equipment teams.
- Drive major leaps in architecture and product capability.
- Participate in customer interviews and field research to understand and define product solutions.
- Lead the engineering culture shift to be AI-first, utilizing LLMs to automate tasks.
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to optimize cross-stack problems like energy consumption.
- Mentor engineers in a high-ownership environment.
- Partner with Engineering Management to balance long-term technical health with iterative wins.
