Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer, preferably in a startup or small team environment.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
- Experience with full-stack development, specifically JavaScript and frontend technologies.
- Experience with relational databases, such as Postgres or other SQL-based systems.
- Experience with Hotwire and View Components.
- Ability to thoughtfully use AI tools to maximize productivity.
- Strong interest in building complete product experiences rather than working strictly in the backend.
- Ability to interact regularly with other departments and customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions at all levels of the Supercast stack, including views, controllers, and models.
- Manage tasks and mentor/coach intermediate and Junior Software Developers.
- Collaborate with departments and customers to define project requirements and success criteria.
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize new feature development.
- Design user experiences and map out user flows using the established design framework.
- Define and meet project adoption and success criteria.
