Requirements
- 8+ years of product management for deeply technical products.
- Engineering or CS background.
- Technical fluency, including ability to read code and work with APIs and CLIs.
- Proven experience shipping developer tools, internal platforms, or AI/ML products.
- Working fluency in LLM-based systems, including agents, evaluation, and fine-tuning.
- Metrics-driven operating style with experience defining and reporting on KPIs.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Proven executive-level stakeholder management across engineering and business functions.
- Ability to travel to a Shield AI location 1-3 times per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Own product definition, roadmap, and metrics across the office of the CTO's agentic AI portfolio.
- Translate CTO strategy into crisp requirements, milestones, exit criteria, and KPIs.
- Drive adoption of internal platforms by reducing onboarding friction and tracking user metrics.
- Shape product direction for foundation-model based autonomy architectures and model lifecycle tooling.
- Run continuous discovery with engineers, operators, and executive stakeholders to prioritize backlogs.
- Analyze agentic tooling and model ecosystems to recommend build/buy/partner positions.
- Author strategy documents, product briefs, and executive updates.
- Manage transitions of maturing products from incubation to owning organizations.
