Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience working in games or related creative categories.
  • At least 3 years of experience with crowdfunding in their categories of focus.
  • Expert understanding of Kickstarter's platform, product, and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and execute on strategic plans that deliver data-driven results.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience speaking to the press and presenting to small and large groups.
  • Strong ability to independently assess campaign quality, innovation, creativity, and clarity of presentation.
  • Ability to represent Kickstarter positively at industry events.
  • Strong network of connections within the game development community.
  • Bonus: Experience as a creator, entrepreneur, or Kickstarter creator.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen relationships with creators, connecting with promising businesses and individuals to bring projects to life.
  • Track creator interactions using Kickstarter’s CRM and ensure adherence to SLAs for support.
  • Own relationships with top-tier creators and collaborate with the creator success team to support their launches.
  • Develop and refine category-specific educational resources and share best practices with the creator community.
  • Represent Kickstarter at industry events and through press appearances to engage with audiences.
  • Develop and execute strategy for the games category to meet revenue, retention, and growth targets.
  • Advocate for creator needs internally and contribute to product policy improvements.
  • Utilize curation channels and collaborate with marketing teams to showcase priority creators.
