Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Medical License in California.
- 2+ years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider.
- Certification in Psychiatry (PMHNP or Psychiatry CAQ).
- Current DEA License.
- Proficiency in harm reduction modeling and patient-centered treatments.
- Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
- Ability to work in a fully-remote environment with a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Reliable internet connectivity for virtual patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorder across all age spectrums.
- Manage psychopharmacological treatment for psychiatric conditions.
- Provide medication-assisted treatment for patients with OUD.
- Deliver supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
- Coordinate care between psychiatry, substance use treatment, and medical providers.
- Complete validated rating scales and treatment plans for patient care documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including PCPs, pediatricians, counselors, and peer support staff.
